The hexagon prints are created from 5mm clear acrylic or 10mm shutter ply wood. The image for the 5mm acrylic option is printed onto the back giving the hexagon print depth and a high gloss finish. For the 10mm shutter ply wood, the image is printed directly onto the front allowing the look and texture of the wood to come through. When printing onto the wood option, we print with a layer of white ink first before we run the colour ink. This still allows for the texture of the wood to come through, along with good colour reproduction. We can, if requested turn of the white ink and have the colour ink print directly onto the wood. You can keep on adding to your hexagon prints, growing your wall of memories throughout the years with pictures, designs or words. We have two sizes to start with, and with the hexagon prints you can mix the different sizes together.
